What Team & API is, and who it is for
Team & API is the programming interface of EPOS-AI: a way to call EPOS-AI from your own programs, scripts or automations, not only through the app's interface.
It is built for publishers and editing agencies who run several manuscripts through the same process, for author teams who split the work on one account, and for anyone who wants to build EPOS-AI into their own tool.
How a team works
One shared credit
All keys on an account draw on the same credit, the same limit as in the app.
Usage visible per key
You see how often and how much each key has used, and you can revoke it with immediate effect.
Worth knowing: team members work with their key through programs, not with their own login in the app. There are no separate team accounts with their own sign-in today.
Credit and pausing
Through the API, only the credit available on your account can ever be used, never more. If the credit does not cover a call, it is rejected immediately, with a note on buying more.
Calls with your keys then pause until credit is available again, either through a top-up or at the start of your next billing period. That happens by itself, with no action needed from you.

Fetch your projects and chapters, for example to bring them into your own archive or tool.
Manuscript analysis and chat

Not yet included: writing projects or chapters through the API, starting an edit through the API, and separate logins for team members.

Frequently asked questions
Do team members need their own EPOS-AI account?
No. They work with a key assigned to them through a program, not with their own login in the app.
Can the API use more than my account's credit?
No. A call that would exceed the available credit is rejected before it costs anything.
What happens once the credit is used up?
API calls pause, with a note on buying more. As soon as credit is available again, it resumes by itself.
Can I lock a key immediately?
Yes. Revoking it takes effect immediately; the next call with that key fails.
Can I write my manuscript or start an edit through the API?
Not yet. Today you can read projects and chapters, analyse a text and hold a chat. Writing and running an edit through the API are not part of the current feature.
